As the new year starts I find myself in the midst of a cold and snowy Winter. I have done very little flying recently. However, I did get my first taste of aerotowing on a frozen lake while wearing ice skates this past weekend. We were towing a DreamFlight Weasel up with a Hyperion Extra 260 on skis. It turned out to be a lot of fun!

I thought I would get an opportunity to do some indoor flying in the HHH Metrodome this Winter. I did manage to make my first visit on December 6 of last year. A week later the roof deflated and put an end to Dome flying for the season. All of the other venues I have an opportunity to fly in are going to be much smaller. As much as I feel that the ParkZone Vapor is overpriced I may end up having to buy one. They look like they are a great deal of fun.

Since the flying will be infrequent for a few months it is time to direct my attention towards building and repair projects. Neither are very appealing to me but it is a good time for them. I have a various projects than I have started and shelved, others that I have not started, and a couple new things that I might tackle. In no particular order, here is some of what I have to choose from...
